Toram Online on Linux

Toram Online runs perfectly fine in Linux thru modern or Steam’s proton compatibility layer, if you use distros such as Cachyos and Fedora you can basically install and let Steam download the required packages for you. https://www.protondb.com/app/1827180 . If in some cases the install button is greyed out all you have to do is go to the Settings menu , go to Compatibility and check the box.

Performance wise? it’s a lightweight game, the performance difference compared to Windows is really unnoticable. But when playing it while in record i feel like Linux takes the cake, i use Obs for recording but you can achieve better performance with GPU Screen Recorder on Linux.

Is it Safe? i’ve been playing the game for almost 2000 hours on the clock using my main account and it’s still fine.

Bugs? None, it runs like in Windows , really… if you find any bugs here it’s usually also occurs on Windows or Asobimo version too.

Asobimo Version on Linux? You can, see here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dtTApkqwtw

What Browser do i use? I use Zen Browser, it’s a mozilla firefox based browser with arc-inspired ui-ux design. For Toram login it works fine, not perfect, but fine. Sometimes i have to deal with blank screen but that issue pretty much occurs on different browsers too.

The game won’t launch but it’s running in the background? Try launching another game to see whether the problem is universal or it’s just for Toram specifically. If it’s universal then maybe something is wrong with your graphical driver setup (nvidia utils), try removing them.

The game says connection error or stuck in logging in screen? Sometimes all you have to do is as simple as changing your dns setup, if you use Cachyos you can go to Cachyos Hello go to Apps/Tweaks and change Dns server to Google dns. I don’t know if it’s only me but Cloudflare loves to give me issues with Toram. If the problem still persist try to completely reset your network settings.

Which Linux Distro? I’m currently using Cachyos for my daily linux driver and it does the job for me, i’ve been distro hopping a lot and if you ask me which one i can recommend to you it’s either CachyOs or Fedora.

In what part does Windows excels? It’s pretty much the same to be honest, but playing on Windows is definitely safer since it’s how the developer intended the players to play on
